I wont go into details much since I'm really exhausted(at work now).
On Monday night, me and SOCOS left to LA in a Ryder truck and car trailor hitch. It took us about 7 hours since we couldn't go anything past 60mph. I learned the art of defensive driving and wont do it again unless its life and death. Especially in LA traffic, hella scary.Anyways, we get to Greg Dupree's place at around 7am, Pulled an all nighter and well spent the day fixing the Z. Greg is very thorough and does not half ass his jobs. He fixed alot of stuff that I didnt tighten up or was loose and hooked me up with lots of little parts and hoses. He diagnosed everything and tuned my car to run 13lbs of boost on the NA fuel pump. With the TT fuel pump, i could probably be boosting more then 15 but then that will be later. Overall I am excited and pleased with Greg Dupree. He is the only person I've ever met that knows so much about the Z. I was awe inspired, shocked and happy at the same time. The exhaustion of not sleeping didnt even cross my mind. I didnt even feel hungry except we went for a little grub at Chili's. After that, he ran the car and tuned it to its max for what it had. That guy Greg, took my car for one of those crazy speed turns where you round a corner and floor it and car loses control and he corrects it. After 2 of those and I almost had a heart attack. I know for sure that I would have ended up in someones front yard or wrapped around a telephone pole. hahahaa. He swapped my HKS filter w/ a Jim Wolf one after he showed me how the HKS can't filter big particles of sand were not filtered in the element. I also did the Secret Suspension Mod. I had a good time and Greg is a really stand up guy. Very knowlegable and lives up to his reputation. I can't praise him enough but yet feel deprived and jealous since the LA Z folks have him. hahahaa. He does have family up here in Northern California though so maybe he might move here. LOL. It was nice meeting all the folks that came over and theres much more I'd like to write about but that will be during a later time. Once again. Greg is the shiznit!
